Document Description
Jackson Demonstration State Forest plans on pre-commercially thinning 1,025 acres of redwood and Douglas-fir plantations in four different areas and comprising of 13 seperate units. This work to take place January through October 2001. Hand crews using chainsaws will enter stands and cut brush and small trees to properly space healthy residual trees. Slash near roads and private property lines will be lopped and scattered.
