                Document Description

The purpose of the project is to replace the existing 78-foot long, 30-foot wide, 4-span reinforced concrete-slab bridge supported by three bents of seven piles per bent for a total of 21 timber piles that are located in the creek. The existing concrete slope paving protecting the bridge abutments will also be removed as part of the project, as would the concrete and sheet pile grade control weir structure immediately upstream of the bridge. The proposed replacement bridge shall be a 94-foot long structure, 38-foot wide superstructure, with two 12-foot lanes, two 5-foot shoulders, and two 2-foot guardrail elements on the deck. The bridge type is a cast-in-place, pre-stressed concrete-box girder bridge. The new bridge will clear the span of the creek. The new abutments will be concrete supported on four to five piles per abutment located outside of the creek.
