The Coachella Valley Water District proposes to conduct urgent repair and maintenance activities along a 17-mile section of the Coachella Valley Stormwater Channel (CVSWC) from Jackson Street in the city of Indio to near the termination of the CVSWC at the Salton Sea. The purpose of the project is to quickly repair and maintain those areas of the CVSWC is a constructed, receiving channel for floodwaters, agricultural drainage and treated wastewater.
