Document Description
The project is limited to use of a suction type of dredge to remove no more than 750 cubic yards of accumulated sediments from the entrance, boat launch ramp and docking/berth area of the North Tahoe Marina annually in order to provide for safe entrance to the marina, and use of the marina's docking and launching facilities by recreational boaters on Lake Tahoe. All dredged materials will be disposed of in an offsite permitted facility. Dredge water associated with the operation will not be returned to the lake. The water will either be sent for offsite disposal or will be separated from dredge solids and used for irrigation water in nearby upland areas.
