Document Description
The proposed project is a memoradum of understanding between the SDUPD and the Regents of the University of California to allow continued use of SDUPD Vessel 7716 by Scripps Institution of Oceanography at the University of California San Diego for research purposes in San Diego and adjacent coastal ecosystems. Under this MOU, the SDUPD will retain ownership of the vessel and provide berthing space at G Street Mole, while SIO will be responsible for insurance and regular upkeep and maintenance at its sole cost and expense. This MOU allows the SDUPD and SIO to leverage resources to increase the SDUPD's understanding of ecological processes in the bay.
