Document Description
Redlands Unified School District (RUSD) proposes to construct a new public middle school facility for 6th through 8th grade students with a student capacity of ~ 1,330 students, ~60 staff. The new school facilities would consist of a total of six buildings totaling 73,540 sf. The buildings would include an administration building, library and media room: multipurpose building with a kitchen, two classroom building clusters (24 standards classrooms, 10 science and art classrooms, and 2 locker rooms), and a technology building with 6 classrooms. The project would also include the future addition of ~16,000 ft. of classroom space to the northern classroom building cluster to accommodate potential future with RUSD does not anticipate the project starting until 2018 or later. Assuming construction begins in 2018, the school would be expected to open sometime in 2020.
