Document Description
The project shall excavate an approxiamtely 14-foot long, 8-foot wide, and 10-foot deep trench to expose an existing natural gas pipelne for inspection and repair as needed. Once the excavation is approximately 3.5 feet deep, shoring will be installed to prevent the excavation from collasping. Total project impacts include: a temporary spoils staging area, the removal of two branches from two vally oak (Quercus lobata) trees, and excavation of an approximately 112 square-foot area within the bed and banks of Miller Creek.
