Document Description
The top of the Fire Control Station - i.e. only the access hatch opening will be covered with Luciter (a type of acrylic) using galvanized steel brackets. This would be a reversible change to the structure. The steel hatch cover will be left open and in place to allow visitors to peer down into the Coastal Artillery Observer's Control room. Lucite or steel mesh would be installed inside the view port to prevent and/or visitors from crawling inside.
