Document Description
The project consists of Geotechnical Drilling into the bridge deck of the Grizzly Slough Bridge over Grizzly Slough. Two sampled and logged test boring (approximately 4-6" in diameter) will be drilled to a depth of approximately 120 feet within the channel of Grizzly Slough. Borings will be performed through the exisitng bridge deck. The bridge will be cored and a casing set into the subgrade at these boring locations to facilitate drilling and sampling. Cuttings and drill fluid will be contained, placed in drums, and disposed appropriately at another location. Holes will be backfilled per Sacramento County Environmental Health requriements.
