Document Description
The project is limited to the repair and maintenance of existing hydroelectric structures within and around Poe Dam, as part of the required Poe Hydroelectric Facility maintenance project under the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) License 2107. Activities include the modification of four existing flood gates and associated trunnions which involve the replacement of various components with in-kind or higher strength materials. Access and staging areas will be located on the existing dam and intake structure and along the dam access road and Highway 70. Trimming of blackberry and small willow branches along the dam access road is necessary to move equipment to the staging area.
