Document Description
The proposed project would fund the ongoing operation and maintenance of existing trails and facilities in the 220-acre OHV recreation area in the Samoa Dunes. Project activities include repair of the OHV unloading ramp, repair of the scenic overlook, upgrades to the 4x4 obstacle course, and maintenance, repair, or replacement of various signs and post/cable barriers throughout the riding area. Ten miles of riding trails will be maintained at least four times per year, requiring the use of a tractor with box scraper or small dozer.
