Reasons for Exemption
The Department claims a categorical exemption under CEQA Guildelines Section 15306 on the basis that the rule modification solely of requiring data collection (farm-gate water delivery) by agricultural water suppliers that provide greater than 2,000 irrigated acres and to provide those annual reports to DWR. Adopting this regulation amendment will not have a significant adverse environmental impact.
