Document Description
Merced County is considering an application by Liberty Packing for issuance of a Major Modification (MM13-0017) to conditional use permit CUP 02-001 to allow for modification of the existing tomato packing plant. The proposed modification includes expansions of the existing cooling and settling ponds, new tomato truck parking, a new pole shed at the packing plant, expanded open storage adjoining the existing open storage area, improvements to the plant's evaporation and steam capacity, extension of a new railroad spur to the storage area, and other smaller construction at the plant.
