                Document Description

The San Jose Water Company (SJWC) is proposing to improve water storage facilities at the Overlook Station Area in an unincorporated area of Santa Clara County. A new 1.881-million gallon tank would be installed to replace an existing tank and provide the necessary additional storage to meet fire flow requirements. An existing tank and former residence would be demolished. These activities would be on land owned by the SJWC. Improvements to a private road and provides access to the existing tank would also be necessary. Installation of the new tank, removal of an existing tank and former residence, and associated work are collectively referred to as the Overlook Road Tank Project. Tank construction is expected to start in 2014.
