Document Description
State Health Department issued a closure notice of Cooks Well due to the well not meeting current well standards. Cooks well was a 40 foot hand dug well developed in the 1930's before well standards were established and it was never permitted. The proposed project is to drill a new well at site ETS-3 using modern equipment and current well standards. The proposed well site is located at the junction of main entrance road and unnamed service road on the north side of the main entrance road. The footprint of the project site will be 25' x 25', which will be located just north of the main access road. The proposed diameter of the well will be approximately 6" and the well will be approximately 550' deep.
