Document Description
The project involves ongoing trianing of California Department of Forestry and Fire Protetion (CalFire) personnel in the proper procedures of firing techniques, mobile attack and hand tool usage to control wildland fires. The project area is 40 acres of grassland adjacent to wastewater treatment ponds. The land is owned by County of Lke, Special Districts, and is entirely within State Responsibility Area. CalFire Type 3 engines, bulldozer, hand crew and a fire suppression helicopter will be used for the training burn and will be present for all burning activities.
