Document Description
The proposed project involves installaton of a new canopy between two existing buildings located at the southeast intersection of North Harbor Drive and Laurel Street in San Diego, California. The canopy will serve as a cover to protect the existing building's stored manufactured hardware from weather. Work to complete the proposed project will include the following: (1) installing 29 steel posts to support the canopy; (2) attaching the steel posts to an existing high srength reinforced concrete slab using stainless steel bolts; and (3) installing 32 1-foot-wide by 8-foot-tall florescent light fixtures at 13 feet (ft.) above ground level that will include four 4-foot-tall, 32-wattage, T8 lamps. The new canopy will measure 125.17 ft. long by 35.67 ft. wide by 14 ft. tall. The canopy will cover a total area of approximately 3,575 square feet.
