Document Description
The University of California proposes to participate in and commit resources to the formation and operation of a non-profit limited liability company. The Thirty-Meter Telescope (TMT) International Observatory LLC, which would construct, own and operate TMT in Mauna Kea, Hawi'i. Construction and operation of the project has been subject to Hawai'ian environmental law. The University of Hawi'i acted as proxy for the consortium of Universities and countries that constitute the TMT International Observatory LLC.
