Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Streambed Alteration
Agreement number EPIMS-SLO-21086-R4, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the applicant, San Luis Obispo County Department of Public Works.
The Project includes activities related to removing accumulated stream sediment from within 140 linear feet along the west side of Ontario Road, to reduce periodic flooding at the adjacent Avila Beach Drive and Ontario Road intersection and roadways. The material will be removed with a small backhoe and vacuum truck. The maximum
volume of sediment to be removed is 20 cubic yards, impacting a maximum 870 square feet. Vegetation along approximately 140 linear feet will be trimmed to provide access to the channel prior to sediment removal. All material will be disposed of at a certified location authorized to receive such material.
