Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number EPIMS-MEN-21008-R1C, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Clifford Russell.
The project is limited to three encroachments. Two proposed encroachments are for maintenance of existing culverts, and to install rock armoring. Work for these encroachments will include manual removal of debris from the inlet and outlet and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion. The third encroachment is to install a new primary spillway for an existing on-stream pond with a rock armored apron at the outlet. The culvert shall be installed at least 2-feet below the top of the existing embankment, and the downspout shall extend past the toe of the embankment approximately 130 feet. A rock armored apron shall be installed below the downspout with rock that will withstand the anticipated 100-year flow event. Work for this encroachment will include excavation of the embankment, placement of new appropriately sized culvert, backfilling and compaction of fill, excavation at the outlet site, placement of the rock armoring apron, and additional rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion.
