Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2016-0482-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Ms. Tonya Smith.
The project is limited to 5 encrochments. One encroachment is for water diversion to an unnamed tributary to Larabee Crek. Water is diverted from shallow ground water for domestic use. Work will include use and maintenance of the water diversion infrastructure. Thee encroachments are to replace undersized culverts. Work for these encroachments will include excavation, culvert removal, culvert installation, backfilling, compaction of fill and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion. The last encroachment is removal of an instream pond. Work for this encroachment will include excavation of impoundment and restoration of watercourse and adjacent topography.
