                Document Description

The proposed cultivation project described herein (Project) is the continuation of existing cultivation activities located in Trinity County on Assessor’s Parcel Number (APN) 019-340-020. The applicant currently holds an Medical Use – Small Outdoor Cannabis Cultivation License from the California Department of Cannabis Control (DCC) (CCL19-0000056) and is applying for a cannabis cultivation license from the Trinity County Planning Department (CCL-456) to cultivate up to 10,000 square feet (sf) of mature outdoor canopy. The existing cultivation currently includes approx. sixteen (16) hoop rows of various length (five (5) 102’x6’, one (1) 108’x6’, one (1) 54’x6’, two (2) 90’x6’ and seven (7) 96’x6’) for a total of approx. 9,144 sqft mature outdoor canopy; a 1,000 sqft hoop house is used for immature canopy. Other structures used to support cultivation operations include a permitted groundwater well, One (1) 2,500 gallon water storage tank, a 10’x40’ (400 sqft) open processing area, 8’x8’ (64 sqft) compost area, two (2) 10’x10’ (100 sqft) harvest storage shed, a 5’x5’ admin hold shed, a 7’x7’ (49 sqft) Pesticide and Agriculture Chemical Storage shed. There are no plans for expansion, and there will be no soil disturbance or construction activities. All project elements are pre-existing infrastructure on previously disturbed area. A more detailed project description can be found in the Appendix C Checklist. Special Notes: A variance from the neighboring structure within 350ft is not required at this time because the neighboring structures are not legal dwellings and therefore are not currently considered as sensitive receptors. Further review and potential variance could be required if/when a neighboring residence is finaled with occupancy. Future development including updating all existing temporary facilities with permitted structures (including minor excavation and grading, and installation of footings and foundations, as assembly of all building materials) is not included with this determination, and needs to be described in full with Resubmission of Appendix C Checklist including updated discussion of mitigation measures and proposed Site Map prior to further technical review and approval of any future modifications.
