            The project implements a portion of Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District's Wildland Fire Resiliency Program across multiple open space preserves in San Mateo County. The project focuses on removing fire-prone invasive species, expansion of shaded fuel breaks, and fuel reduction at fire staging areas. The preserves that will be treated are Teague Hill, Thornewood, Windy Hill, Pulgas Ridge, Purisima Creek Redwoods, La Honda Creek, Skyline Ridge, Russian Ridge, Monte Bellow, Los Trancos, and El Corte de Madera Creek.
