Document Description
The Sacramento Weir Widening Project includes construction of an approximately 1,500-foot-long passive weir with the associated levee, roadway, and fish passage improvements. The purpose of the Project is to lower the flood stage in the Sacramento River downstream of the weir during high-flow events to support the broader purpose of reducing flood risk to the Sacramento metropolitan area.
