Document Description
The combustion turbine-generators work will consist of the disassembly of the combustion turbine-generators for internal inspection and comparison to original specifications. The turbine cooling, purge air, start/turning gear, air intake, gas fuel ignition, ventilation, controls, emergency trips, synchronization and lubrication systems will be inspected, functionally checked and repaired as needed. Included in the work is the replacement of turbine rotor pressure blades on both turbines. The steam turbine-generator work will consist of the disassembly of the steam turbine-generator for internal inspection and comparison to original specifications. The turbine inlet chamber, gland rings, turbine bearings, barring gear, oil piping, main steam inlet pipe, emergency stop valve, HP & LP control valves, generator bearings, control oil, and lube oil systems will be inspected, functionally checked and repaired as needed. The turbine rotor will be removed for inspection of the last stage, low pressure blades and a flange on main steam turbine inlet pipe will be installed. There will be components discovered during the inspections that will need repair/replacement which are currently unknown
