Document Description
Two borings will be advanced to a total depth of 30 feet within the RVOS valve chamber in order to install two vibrating-wire piezometers. These piezometers will assist in determining a representative pore pressure value within the free draining zone surrounding the valve chamber and provide information on the effectiveness of the 3-stage grout curtain surrounding the valve chamber. All instrumentation will be connected to a real-time telemetry network.
