Remove existing boatlift. Construct 21x28 feet covered boatlift. Pier and other structures will remain. Project includes removing 6 wood pilings and driving 6 metal pilings. Project begins from existing pier that connects to natural ground at approx. 7.8 feet Rumsey. Depth at the lakeward extent of project is -8.6 feet Rumsey. Lakebed has a moderate lakeward slope. Tules were not present within or adjacent to the project area. Construction will occur within October 15 to December 31 work window.

Reasons for Exemption
The project is a private accessory structure. No littoral vegetation will be removed. All work in the lake will occur between October 15 and December 31 unless under direct consultation with California Department of Fish and Wildlife. The project will not result in significant adverse environmental effects to wetlands or riparian habitats. The Lake County Community Development Department has determined that the project will not have a significant effect on the environment and is, therefore, exempt from the provisions of CEQA.
