                Document Description

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-LAN-28868-R5, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Los Angeles County – Department of Beaches and Harbors.
The purpose of this project is to conduct maintenance by removing sediment and debris build up from the underpass road that serves as public access to Zuma Beach. The project area is limited to 0.2 acres of the existing access road that runs parallel to an unnamed drainage. The project activities will be conducted annually from
December 1 to March 31. The project area will be surveyed after storm events to determine if sediment and debris has been deposited on the access road. Any accumulation of sediment and debris will be scraped from the existing road and disposed of off-site.
