Document Description
The Project involves the removal of 280,000 cubic yards of gravel from a mid-channel bar within the Sacramento River. A staging area, access road, stockpile areas, and temporary land bridge will also be constructed as part of the Project. Excavation of the gravel will take between 8 and 10 weeks and will occur between August 15 and October 31. In-water work will be limited to the installation and removal of the temporary land bridge.
