Document Description
The Arden-Arcade Property and Business Improvement District (AAPBID) would be a benefit assessment district whose main goal is to provide improvements and activities, which constitute and convey a special benefit to assessed parcels. The AAPBID would provide a clean and safe program, infrastructure and capital improvements, and marketing and communications services directly and only to assessed parcels within its boundaries. The proposed project consists of the formation of the AAPBID.

The proposed project would create a subsidiary district that could enact a variety of unknown infrastructure and capital improvements. The creation of a district in and of itself would not have an impact to the physical environmental and the AAPBID would occur in an already developed area. The potential improvements enacted by the AAPBID would be speculative at this time and potential, future actions would be subject to environmental review under CEQA. The creation of a district would not impact a site on any list of hazardous waste sites compiled pursuant to Section 65962.5 of the Government Code, located within the vicinity or viewshed of a scenic resource, or located in the vicinity of a known historical resource.
