Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has prepared this Initial Study with Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/MND) for the State Route (SR) 1 Culvert Replacement Project (Project). Caltrans proposes to remove, replace, and extend the culvert at Post Mile (PM) 40.3 on SR 1 in Marin County, California. The Project would also include constructing two wingwalls, removing and installing rock slope protection, excavating the slipout and rebuilding the slope, removing and replacing the structural section of highway, and installing the temporary creek diversion system.
