The project proposes to plant native trees and plants for the purpose of restoring and enhancing 3 acres of habitat within the Rio de Los Angeles State Park’s Natural Parkland area. The proposed work would involve clearing invasive plants and planting native trees and vegetation. The project would serve to restore and enhance vital habitat that the least Bell’s vireo and other species (i.e., yellow warbler, yellow breasted chat, and blue grosbeak) use for nesting/breeding grounds.
