Document Description
An existing osprey nesting platform, at the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve, is currently located on top of a wooden pole underneath electrical power lines. The existing pole will be removed and a new pole will be installed approximately 120
feet northeast of the current location. The nesting platform will be transferred to the new pole location with the project objective to prevent injury and electrocution to wildlife and fire or damage to oil field infrastructure. The total project area
is approximately 6 x 6 feet in size and is located 10 feet east of an access road, and 50 feet from the coastal salt marsh. There will be no impacts on the salt marsh.
