Document Description
The Project is limited to installation of a trash capture device at an existing 108-inch-diameter storm drain outfall to Austin Creek. The Project will install a new, cast-in-place concrete headwall, concrete wingwall, and an approximately 18.5-foot-wide, 12-foot-long concrete pad equipped with three approximately 48-inch diameter trash capture nets that will attach to the new headwall. The bed and bank of Austin Creek will be graded in preparation for the concrete construction. Approximately 275 square feet of rock riprap will be placed on the banks of Austin Creek. An approximately 10-foot-wide, 20-foot-long gravel pad will be installed above the north bank to permit equipment to access the trash capture netting during removal of trash and maintenance activities. The Project will permanently impact approximately 632 square feet and 26 linear feet of Austin Creek and temporarily impact approximately 870 square feet and 48 linear feet of Austin Creek. Up to 22 non-native trees will be removed.
